人日

“人日”亦称“人胜节”、“人庆节”、“人口日”、“人七日”等。
传说女蜗初创世，在造出了鸡狗猪牛马等动物后，于第七天造出了人，所以这一天是人类的生日。

so, according to this wonderful legend, us humans are born or "created" on this day of the lunar new year. we are all officially a year older as of this day. so hmmm... i guess my birthday came early? LOL.

we are supposed to lou hei (which i loosely translate into "toss the salmon" HAHA) today. but due to the bad timing, my family did it last saturday :D:D we had a lot of fun!!! most of the food ended up on the floor. haha!
