life's like that

went to school at 11am to help the freshies bid for their modules. it really made me wonder if i was as anxious as them at this time last year. haha! but then, i had my two nus cousins bidding for me. so i was able to have fun at my oweek while others were fussing over their bidding. guess i am just lucky. since bidding was held during orientation week last year, it was no wonder that my og started shrinking after the first day of round 1C. LOL.

so off i went to school to help them at AS7. turned out that only cs and me were there. and cs had to leave at 11.45am! ohmygod. then there was me with 9 freshies from my og. explained the same thing until my throat turned super dry. kept feeling that i may be too useless to them. hoped that i had explained clearly to them. otherwise i would have failed cs who trusted me to look after them.

anyway, i do not really know why the others did not come except for my ogl. his grandfather had a fall. old people falling down is a very serious issue. 2 previous cases that i know of resulted in the persons having difficulties walking the rest of their lives. makes me wonder how much are we putting in to caring for our elderly. makes me feel afraid of what would happen if one day my grandmother fell. or reading further into the future, if i fall as an elderly.

in the past long ago, people had a saying "you can afford to die but you cannot afford to fall sick". i guess this sort of applies in today's society. the medical fees are outrageous.

i swear that i will try to drink one glass of milk a day. in order to get more calcium and strengthen my bones.

may God bless my ogl's grandfather and all the elderly out there.

tsubasa^^ i need wings to fly
