back from camp and m'sia. finally.

whee! am finally back in my own bed after a super long week! i really really really missed my bed. haha!

21st-25th june was arts camp! left for arts! apparently it's namesake was left for dead- a lan game i have never heard of before less to say played it. all those zombie stuff. LOL. but my camp started on the 20th. day zero was for making identities and having a last laugh with my fellow councillors and ogl and aogls. not many of us turned up by the way. in the end only got me, ailin, hotz, cs, lijie and joel. but we had a great time making the identities. so funny! haha!

waited for a super long time for our freshies. was so scared that no one will turn up because everyone was late. LOL. played monopoly deal while waiting for them. ended up playing with our first freshie val too. haha! this kicked-start our first day of camp:) surprisingly, our og aka texiator had more boys than girls. this is an anomaly. haha! had our campus tour. same old games. quite boring actually. the second day we travelled out of school. also another boring day. played games but i think is waste travelling fare. the station games were not much fun. but i am glad texiator had fun:)

finally beach day arrived but it rained half the day away!!! we ended up only playing mass games and not the station games. so disappointing! we ended up having more fun dunking people into the sea. haha! day four was actualy the most fun. we had pre-war games and the actual war games. this was the fateful day which all of us burned to a crisp. imagine, we did not burn at sentosa but in school??? haha! the result was super painful sunburn. at night we still went clubbing. my god. rubbing against people was so not fun. all i could think of was that my skin was going to rot soon. hahaha! but had a lot of fun clubbing the first time:)

6am on the last day i abandoned my og and went home :( cause i had to catch the bus to malaysia later in the day. quite sad i could not end the day with texiator. but it is okay! we still have oweek:):) let us hope everyone turns up for oweek! acton 214! love love<3

finally came back from malaysia this afternoon. celebrated my grandfather's birthday yesterday. ate the same type of cake every year. LOL. but it was quite fun meeting with all my cousins again:) we will see when is the next time to go back.

looking forward to oweek already! miss my family and friends! meet up soon nonet!

camp camp camping!

disappearing for 5 days of camp starting from today! actually is 6 days. today is day 0. sypposed to help out with our identities ans stuff. but very lazy to go early. haha! let's hope they got it at least halfway done when get there. haha! sorry ogl! =P

just played a round of monopoly deal with my cousins. laughed our heads off over the game. the way they play is super funny. haha! had a lot of fun. am going to miss them when i go camp :)

after camp breaks on friday, no rest day for me. duh. have to go malaysia to celebrate my grandpa's birthday. coming back next sunday! that means i cannot touch my dearest laptop the whole week! so sad :( LOL

messy me! and a wonderful outing

despite all the messes and hitches in planning, nonet managed to have a get-together for our june birthdays babies :) we went kite-flying at west coast park. it was quite a disappointment actually because we could not get any of our kites in the air. raahhh. so angry. there was not much wind i guess. but still.

after which, we went to eat dinner at the linear. xl made us get off at the wrong bus stop -.-" we had to walk further than expexted. the food was average only. spent $68 on dinner for eight people. so the cost was still okay. it was just that the food was not filling and not that nice. haha.

after which i sent twins and sa and xl home. i repeat, i hate driving in the night. lol. e1 and xl were very excited when they heard that my house has world cup channels. haha! they immediately made plans to come over and watch matches. so in the end, xl, e1 and e2 ended up staying at my house :) we played lots of rounds of monopoly deal. and i did not win any!!! e1 was the only survivor watching the 2.30am match to the end. it is her favourite germany versus australia. 4:0. germany won. she was so elated. haha! GOAL! the two of us ended up sleeping at 4.30am though. haha!

can't wait for another stayover and outing! time for somebody else to plan!

kungfu teaches patience... should start learning it

met up with xl and sa for lunch today at mos burger. yum yum. i just love the milk tea and fries! after which, we went to twins' house to pass time while waiting for our movie to start. played monopoly deal and i finally won! yeah! time to challenge nick and yh :)

watched the karate kid with e1, xl, sa, je and ul! what a great movie! i really love the action scenes. and jaden smith is very cute :) the scenes about him learning kungfu with his jacket is very funny. and interesting too. wonder how many people will start trying to learn kungfu this way. haha! hang it up, take it down. put it on, take it off. throw it down, take it up. repeat the whole cycle. LOL.

everything is kungfu.

had dinner at ajisen. this time, e2 and her bf joined us. i didn't eat though. promised my aunt to go home for dinner. we talked and discussed very long about what to do on sunday. no plans. haha! in the end, we decided to go west coast park! free entrance and cheap food. on tight budget recently. must start saving if i want to play in redang!

can't wait for this week to end.

home sweet home

yeah! finally home after the great shopping trip in manila:):) the feeling of being home is terrific! but this holiday is not trouble-free! i shall try to give an account of the problems for the past five days. but not word for word! haha! i will go crazy trying to recall. shall state the major events:)

day one
our flight was 1410 and we reached changi airport at 1045. very early right folks? haha! we wanted to check in and shop at the duty-free shops. but, henceforth the first problem appears. my youngest sister px was travelling with us but not with our parents. so, in accordance to some Philippines weird rules and regulations, children under 15 have to be accompanied by a parent so as to enter the country. luckily and sadly for us, i am her blood-related sister so it was easier to allow her to enter the Philippines. sadly, i am under 21. so not a legal guardian. in the end, the whole check-in process took about 1.5 hours. *faint* the longest check-in i have ever experienced.

okay. finally checked in and boarded the airplane. SQ916. i just love taking Singapore airlines. terrific plane food and movies. watched and on the flight over to manila. enjoyed them very much:)

the second problem arrived when we landed in manila at 1735. because of px being under 15, we have to pay a fine of P3125 to get her into the country. that is S$100 approximately. waste of money in my opinion. by the time we checked out, it was 1810. took such a long time for the administration works to process. inefficiency of the airport staff. but since we had a prior experience 5 years ago, we sort of expected the waiting time to be long.

the third and major problem. our largest luggage went missing!!! shock and disbelief. how could a luggage go missing at an airport??? *rewind* i forgot. not all airports are our changi airport. it was ridiculous. when we checked out, the luggages were just being chugged out onto the conveyor belt. i totally could not believe it. we spent another half hour trying to locate the missing luggage. finally, the staff told us that it may have been left back in changi airport. in other words, it was not loaded onto the plane. my goodness! i have never seen such inefficiency from the Singapore airlines crew before. pushing the blame back to changi. we were told to leave and will be contacted when they located our luggage. so by the time we left the airport, it was 1915. we reached uncle j's house at 2000. such a long journey.

it was after dinner that SIA called and told us they could not find our luggage back in singapore. they gave us multiple choice answers, 1)loaded onto the wrong plane (i think it is ridiculous that the luggage could be touring Europe while we were getting no answers here). 2)missing somewhere on the plane (another ridiculous option). 3) somebody took the wrong luggage (this sounded more plausible but that means we are never going to see it again). uncle j was very angry and demanded that if the luggage was still left in singapore, it would have to be sent to us at the earliest flight next day.

so we went to sleep not knowing the fate of the luggage. both my aunts' and maat's clothings were inside.

day two
early in the morning, SIA called again and told us that it was confirmed that the luggage was loaded onto our plane and departed for Philippines with us. so we could not blame the SIA staff in changi. but the infuriating thing was they gave us the hope that the luggage was left back in Singapore. now, we had to deal with the fact that it was stolen. it was really irresponsible of the SIA ground crew in the Philippines. of course uncle j was angry and demanded compensation. which the SIA had to give us i guess. no one could hide from uncle j's wrath. *grins* i love it.

we all had to go shopping out of necessity rather than leisure because the three of them realy needed clothes. this incident really put a mark on our vacation.

the rest of the the 3 days were used for shopping, eating and shopping. shoemart and landmark are great shopping centres:) great bargains and cheap clothes! we also went to the Mall of Asia on the 4th day. it is a really HUGE shopping mall with lots of terrific shops! i would love to go back there again! xoxo

we came home today (which i suppose is considered yesterday since it is already past midnight) on the 1850 flight SQ921 which arrived in singapore at 2200. now here i am, sitting comfortably at home , reflecting on my vacation. bad experience. totally. irresponsible people exist everywhere.what goes around comes around. people who steal are going to get theirs some day. soon. suffer the wrath of all the victims!

let us hope that my trip to redang(hopefully we are still going) will be trouble-free. *pray hard and cross fingers*
